- •Payment Info: Processed via third parties (RevenueCat).
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- •Usage Data: App interactions, session duration, and mode preferences.
- •Device Information: Device type, OS, unique identifiers, and network info.
- •Audio Data: Voice recordings from voice-first features.
2.3 Third-Party Data
Information shared with or received from AI providers (Google Gemini, ElevenLabs) and analytics services.

- Deliver personalized AI coaching and context-aware responses.

Data Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 Third-Party Service Providers

- •AI Providers: Google (Gemini), ElevenLabs, OpenAI.
- •Infrastructure: Supabase, AWS.
- •Analytics/Payments: Opik, RevenueCat, Apple, Google.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: These providers have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their specific data practices.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose data to comply with law enforcement, protect our rights, or during business transfers (mergers/acquisitions).
4.3 Marketplace
Custom modes you publish are public. Usage data of those modes may be shared with the respective creators.
Data Storage and Security
5.1 Storage
- •Data is stored on third-party cloud servers (Supabase).
- •Conversation history is retained indefinitely unless deletion is requested.
5.2 Security
While we use reasonable measures, NO METHOD IS 100% SECURE. You acknowledge the inherent risks of transmitting data over the internet.
Data Retention
- •Active Accounts: Data is retained while the account is active.
- •Deleted Accounts: Data may be kept for up to 90 days for backups/legal.
- •Anonymized Data: Aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
Your Rights and Choices
You may access your data, request a data export, or request account deletion through the app. Note that deleting certain data may render the app unusable, and some data must be retained for legal reasons.
Children's Privacy
BetterOS is NOT intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If discovered, such data will be deleted promptly.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your residence. By using BetterOS, you consent to these international transfers.
AI and Automated Processing
10.1 AI Decision-Making
AI systems make automated decisions regarding recommendations. These are generally NOT reviewed by humans.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content. Use these features at your own risk.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services linked within our app. Access them at your own risk.

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

You have the right to know, delete, and opt-out of the "sale" of info (sharing with AI providers may qualify as a sale).

In the event of a breach, we will notify users as required by law. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
